I had the unique honor of shooting Professor Fox for Project Genesis. Fox was joined in the studio by Kat V., to put the finishing touches on a track they have been working on. Seeing the creative process of assembling a track and how these two play off each other is truly inspiring; and the track? Simply amazing.

Amtrak - The Rails

On June 8th 2019 I landed in Laguardia, took a Uber to Manhattan, walked to Penn Station and took the amazing Amtrak Lakeshore line from New York to Chicago.

From passengers to conductors, the people I met along this journey will forever be in my heart, but the images I captured are burned in my memory forever.

Travel by rail represents expansion, evolution, new horizons. But what I saw didn’t match my childhood nostalgia or my naivety . I saw the abandoned shell of US Industry. Abandoned factories. Lost and forgotten freight cars. Baron warehouses and stations.

It taught me that everything has to change and while it may seem like a loss, it’s usually growth in another area.

The rails are alive and well.

Rogers Park

The far north. ROPA, Rogers, The North Pole, Beyond the wall. This is the neighborhood I have come to cherish, return to, and raise my child in.

Rogers Park was my home since 5, and continues to impress me. A mix of city and beach town.

Sacred Art Tour

Ven. Geshe Lharampa Khenrap Chaeden leads his group in sharing and educating the public on Tibetan culture and Tibetan Buddhism while also accepting donations to support their monastery.

During their last evening in Evanston, The Drepung Gomang Monks joined Jahn Illuminati and Devi 2000 for a night of sacred music for all.

Seoul

On a trip to Seoul, I had the unique opportunity to capture some of the sights and culture. It here that I learned the proverb, "Eat everything".
